I started this blog in 2008, with the intention of featuring local Manitoba gardens. Of course the first one I posted was my parents' garden, aptly named the Garden of Ede'n Gerald, by my mom. When my dad passed away in 2009, my blog became a tribute to Mom & Dad, and the garden they had left behind on the farm. After almost seven years, I decided it was time to get back to posting here.

But don't let the name fool you....Manitoba Gardens is so much more than garden tours. If you're not a Canadian, you may not be familiar with the Canadian Tire store, and judging by the name, you would think they sell only tires. But no, they sell just about everything, from hardware to sporting goods, and yes, tires! I tell people to just think of Manitoba Gardens as another Canadian Tire!

Manitoba Gardens does feature garden tours, but also many other topics - Manitoba Sights & Scenery, and Home & Garden DIY & Decor...If it's related to Manitoba, my home or garden, be it a pallet project, a recipe, a craft, or a local place of interest, you'll find it here.....and yes, a few family posts find their way in too! Most recently, my focus has switched to my health, so of course you'll see that reflected in my posts as well. As my son says, "I'm a dabbler."

Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you found us, and I hope you enjoy your visit. Please leave a comment and let me know you stopped by.
